° GALVANIZED STEEL BOLTED STORAGE TANKS

Galvanized steel tanks are an economical way of storing drinking water, fire-fighting water, rain water, raw water, various types of wastewater, etc.
Tank dimensions
We supply tanks with a capacity ranging from 9 m3 to more than 4000 m3, and with a diameter ranging from 3.1 m. Consequently, we are able to offer a product for a wide range of specifications and requirements.
Tank components
The highest quality galvanised steel sheets, which are bolted to each other to form a cylinder construction. Such technology allows us to reduce the installation time and costs - replacing the massive concreting and welding works.
For sealing, an industrially produced membrane is used in advance, which reduces risks of water leakage. Each membrane undergoes full quality control before being sent out, which excludes the possibility of any defects.
L-shaped, galvanised steel profiles are used for the base and the top of the tank fixings. They are curved to each tank individually. Depending on the size of the tank, a wind stiffener is also used, to withstand both the contents and the wind load.
Tanks are equipped with inlet, outlet, overflow and drain connections as standard. According to customer requirements, connections are adapted according to the project specification.
Very often it is necessary to install the tank with insulation. We offer a submersible 3 kW heater, as well as internal and external insulation. For each project specification, we recommend the right solution, in order for the stored substance not to freeze, even in the most extreme weather conditions.
According to customer requirements, we equip tanks with accessories - side shell manway, caged ladder, service platform, etc.
Tank assembly
Assembly is carried out using hydraulic jacks or scaffolding. It is advised to get a consultation on the recommended method for assembly, depending on the size of the tank.
Damage repair
Galvanised steel sheets, which become mechanically or environmentally damaged, can be changed without dismantling the entire tank. If any damage is caused to the membrane, it is also possible to fix it at the site.

° FM APPROVED TANKS >500 Yr

The FM Approved certification mark is an expressive symbol that indicates that an accredited certification organization has carefully evaluated a product according to established, robust testing standards and verified the product's performance. FM Approvals is committed to promoting the development and use of FM Approved products and services that improve and advance property damage prevention around the world.

FM Global is one of the world's leading property insurance companies. Their steel tank approval and third party certification are intended to ensure that the particular tank being designed meets the highest standards and provides a level of protection for life and property.
FM considers 5 earthquake-seismic criteria: (50-year, 100-year, 250-year, 500-year and >500-year). MB Holding offers >500 year old steel tanks.

° GLASS FUSED STEEL TANKS

Glass fused to steel tanks is a unique technology; these materials are melted together at a temperature of +815 °C, resulting in amazing physical and chemical resistance. The main benefits are:
Industrial quality control ensuring a durable, long-lasting coating that fulfils its functions even in the most extreme conditions, without the need for large investments and maintenance in the future.
Glass fused to steel tanks are assembled in a short time, using less equipment.
Prefabricated structure makes it easy to replace the damaged panels, or to move the whole tank, etc.
A much more cost-effective solution in comparison with concrete and welded tanks.
We supply tanks with a capacity of up to 50,000 m3.  Almost unlimited tank dimensions and reliability allow one to store water, wastewater, digestate, biogas, manure, biofuels, etc.
Tank components
Glass fused to steel sheets are produced under strict quality control, without any deviations from the standards. Each sheet is tested individually, and if a defect is discovered, it will be recycled, not repaired.
Mastic is used as a sealant, which was developed together with the tank producers, and designed for exactly that purpose.
L-shaped, galvanised steel profiles are used for the base and the top of the tank fixings. They are curved to each tank individually. Depending on the size of the tank, a wind stiffener is also used, to withstand both the contents and the wind load.

Tank sheets, which are mechanically or environmentally damaged, can be changed without dismantling the entire tank; or, if there is minor damage, a repair kit can be used.

° EPOXY AND POWDER COATED STEEL BOLTED TANKS

The benefits of epoxy coated steel tanks compared to more traditional tank coatings include higher durability to impact, lower cost manufacturing, lower carbon footprint and more efficient design principles.
Powder coating differs from other coatings as the dry powder is applied to the tank components, and then heat cured before the parts leave the factory.

° LINER, MEMBRANE PRODUCE

MB Holding LLC produces liners, membranes for the storage of water and other fluids. Each membrane is produced to order, by precise dimensions and specification. We also offer PVC membranes as well. Can be used to store various fluids. All the membranes can be used for tank refurbishment, for existing concrete or steel tanks.
In the production process we use PVC – a wide application range – potable water, diesel, chlorine, fire-fighting water, etc. fluids. Standard material thickness is 0.74 mm and weight 900 g/m2. The material retains its properties -30 °C to + 70 °C.
Certified product, can be in contact with potable water
Lifetime 15+ years
Material have an outstanding lifetime and they are highly resistant to the impact of weather. Molecular structure provides protection over a long period of time, even when exposed to the direct impact of atmosphere, sunlight and UV. Strength and elasticity remain constant over many years.
